The 16/20 – 1/2″ Female is a professional-grade PEX gas fitting designed for LPG gas installations where a secure 1/2″ female threaded connection is required. This fitting is commonly used by qualified gas installers to connect 16–20mm PEX gas piping to valves, regulators, isolation points, and gas appliances with a 1/2″ male thread.
Manufactured for durability and long-term reliability, the 1620 – 1/2″ Female fitting provides a strong, leak-free connection when installed using the correct PEX press or crimp system. It is suitable for both residential and commercial gas reticulation systems, including installations for gas stoves, gas hobs, gas geysers, gas fireplaces, and heaters.
PEX gas systems are widely preferred due to their resistance to corrosion, vibration, and scale build-up. This fitting complements those benefits by offering excellent pressure handling and temperature resistance, making it ideal for demanding LPG environments.
Its compact design allows for easy installation in confined spaces such as cupboards, wall cavities, or behind appliances. When fitted correctly by a qualified gas installer, it supports safe operation and compliance with gas installation standards.
This fitting is suitable for:
– LPG gas stove and hob installations
– Gas geyser and water heater connections
– Gas fireplaces and heaters
– Residential and commercial gas reticulation
– Professional installer toolkits and spare parts
Whether used for new installations or system upgrades, the 16/20 – 1/2″ Female PEX fitting offers installers a dependable and compliant solution for threaded gas connections.
